paper towel tube
glue or hodgepodge
tissue paper
raffia
or jute
silk leaves (preferably fall colored maple leaves)
hole
punch
Cut paper towel tube into a 1-1/2 inch cylinder.
Hodgepodge or
glue tissue paper to tube. If working with children precut the tissue paper into
3-inch squares and glue to the tube in the center and roll, tuck the edges into
the tube.
Punch holes near the base of the leaves and tie together with
raffia.
Decorate tube by adding leaves, tie on with a bow.
