cardboard oatmeal container, the cylinder
shaped one, empty
construction paper, in the holiday colors
crepe paper
streamers, in the holiday colors
glue
string
scissors
hole
punch
Cut bottom off oatmeal container.
Cover the outside of
container with construction paper.
Make decorations form constructions
paper.
Glue on decorations made from construction paper stars.
Cut crepe
paper streamers and glue them along them all around the end of one side of the
container.
Punch four holes along the top of the container.
Cut two pieces
of string about 12 inches long and tie from one hole to the hole on the opposite
side and repeat of the other two holes.
Tie a long piece where the smaller
strings intersects and hand your new windsock.
