Piggy Centerpiece

Pigs root forward and are often eaten on New Years to bring
luck. You don't eat this one just let him decorate the table.
1, 2" Styrofoam ball
1, 1-3/4" Styrofoam ball
4 small wooden doll heads for legs
1 wooden circle for the snout
2 wooden hearts for the ears
2 googley eyes
2" length pink chenille stem (pipe cleaner)
pink acrylic paint or tempera paint
black permanent marker
red yarn
have on hand
paintbrush
white glue
knife
toothpicks
wire cutters
Make body & head: With the knife, cut off a small section of
each Styrofoam ball. This will help the head stay put on the
body.
Insert a toothpick into one of the cut off sections of the balls,
squirt glue on and push on the other ball.
Let dry.
Attach legs to the body of the pig with glue. They need to be
slightly angled.
Push hearts in to head for ears and glue on snout.
Let dry.
Paint pig in its entirety pink.
Let dry.
With marker add two circles to the larger wooden circle for the pigs
nostrils.
Glue on eyes.
Cut yarn for mouth and glue on.
Cut chenille stem for the tail, curl and push into the back of the pig.
