Do It Now
by John Granic from Mississauga,
Ontario, Canada
In loving memory of my mother, Mila Granic,
February
18, 1941-December 20, 1995.
"I love you mom" you say
but you
wait until Mother's Day.
That is all fine and dandy.
Mom likes "I love
you" more than candy.
Whatever you're doing now can wait.
Say "I
love you mom" before it's too late.
Don't wait until tomorrow or next week
or any other.
Now is the time to say "I love you" to your mother.
Say "I love you mom." Do it now
while she's still alive to take a
bow
or plenty of tears you will shed
after she's long gone and dead.
"I love you mom" you say
but only on Mother's Day.
Promise
yourself your mom will hear
"I love you mom" 365 days a year.
