Mexican Celebrations

 

National holidays include: New Years, Day, Constitution Day, Flag Day, Benito Juárez’s Birthday, Día de los Niños Heroes, Grito de Dolores, Independence Day, Las Posadas, Navidad (Christmas).

Cinco de Mayo is not an official holiday except in the State of Puebla where the big battle took place.

Holidays that are celebrated, though not official holidays, include: Day of the Holy Kings, Children’s Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Teacher’s Day, All Saint’s Day, All Soul Day, Dia de los Inocentes.
