Molded Soap

skill level: easy
cost: $5-$20
craft time: 20 minutes

Crafts stores carry fragrances for soaps as well.
Add flower petals to your soap or a toy for the kids (stir into after the soap has been in the microwave).

glycerin soap in lots of colors (Check the label, usually it is translucent. If soap doesn't start to liquefy in 15 seconds or if it boils, you do not have pure glycerin soap.)
soap or candy molds
microwave
microwavable cups (a glass measuring cup works well as it has a spout for easy pouring)

Cut soap into quarters.
Put a piece into a cup.
Place in the microwave and melt on HIGH for 10-15 seconds.
Remove and stir.
Moving quickly but carefully pour soap into molds.
Wait about 5 minutes for it to harden and cool (may be place in the freezer if you are having trouble removing soap from molds).
Once cooled, remove and continue making more, try layering colors.
