Vampire

A vampire is a corpse that rises from slumber at sunset to seek nourishment in the form of human blood.  Some believe that if one is bitten but not killed by one of these blood-suckers, the person will then become a vampire.  Others believe that bitten or sucked dry any victim of a vampire will thus be eternally damned as a vampire.  Still other believe that one must be bitten by a vampire and then drink vampire blood to become a vampire.  To kill a vampire one must drive a wooden stake through its heart or somehow lure the creature into the daylight where it will burst into flames.
