Clay Pot Candy Corn

This is perfect crafts for little ones.
Drawing the lines and using the masking tape are optional. You can also paint on
a tongue or teeth. Optional step is to spray pot with a clear acrylic sealer
once all the paint is on and before extras.
small or medium terra cotta
pot
small wooden ball
glue, hot glue gun or crafters
glue
pencil
masking tape
white, yellow and orange acrylic
paint
paint brush or sponge
googley eyes
black permanent
marker
Wipe down your terra cotta pot with a damp cloth and let dry
completely.
With a pencil light draw three lines on the pot that divides the
pot into three equal sections.
Glue wooden ball to the center, this will be a
nose.
Take the masking tape and tape just below the top line.
Start at the
top and either sponge or paint the top third yellow (you can also paint the
inside of the pot), let dry.
Remove tape and reattach to top the top of the
first line (over the paint).
Take a second strip of masking tape and tape
just below the second line.
Sponge or paint the middle section and the "nose"
orange, let dry.
Remove tape.
Reattach one strip of tape just above the
second line (over the paint).
Sponge or paint the bottom section white, let
dry.
Remove tape.
Attach eyes with glue and draw on a mouth with the
marker.
