National Hot Toddy Day

Hot Toddy
1 ounce whisky, rum or brandy 
good squeeze of lemon juice
sprinkle sugar
3 ounces hot water

Mix all together.

For fun try this:
Kentucky Toddy

1-1/2 ounces Kentucky Bourbon
1 slice lemon
1 lump sugar
4 ounces boiling water
ground nutmeg
ground cloves
cinnamon stick

Combine bourbon, lemon, sugar and boiling water in coffee mug.
Sprinkle with nutmeg and cloves; stir with cinnamon stick.
