My Love for my Dad

My Birth father left my mum when I was
very young so I never really knew him. I did not have a dad for some time and
always wondered what it would be like !
The happiest day of my life was
when my mum brought you into my live.
So I dedicate this to a very
special person in my life, My dad Leo Neilon which I have called dad proudly for
the last 30 three years and will remain to do so all my life.
I often ask
myself what I could do really to show my dad how much really Love him and what
he has meant to me, in my life.
To tell him everyday that I love him is
just not enough.
So Dad this is for you.

Dad
you mean so much to me I really do not know where to start.
You gave me
hope and consolation right from the very start and when things get tough you
give me strength to carry on to hold my head high and reach for the
sky.
You always said I could reach my dreams.
You have encouraged
me so much and made me proud just
to be the person I am
today.
You have been my rock on which I stand you are my
shelter
from life's stormy sea's
You have encouraged me nurtured
me
and cared for me in everything I have done.
I have been truly
blessed since the day you became my dad.
I gained my dreams I might not
have told you!
My dream was to have you as my dad and the grandad of my
children.
You make me so proud to have you as my dad
So thank you
dad for the care the Love and the kind of happiness that I could never
compare.
