Walking All Over Dad
by Debi, Roanoke,
Alabama
"We did this in our Children's' Church and the kids presented
then to their Dads in church on Fathers' Day. The Dads loved it."
skill level: easy
cost: $5-$20
craft time: 20
minutes plus drying time
you'll need
white T-shirt with
pocket
3-4 different color craft paints suitable for painting on
cloth
washable poster board or large piece of cardboard
medium point paint
pen in any color (I used black)
On the pocket of the T-shirt with paint
pen write
"My Child Walks All
Over Me" or
"My Children Walk All Over Me" or
for grandfather you can write grandchildren.
Place the poster board inside the shirt. This keeps the paint from seeping
through to the other side.
Place on the floor.
Paint the bottom of the
child's foot and have her/him step onto the shirt, paint the other foot the same
color and step on shirt again to resemble walking.
If only one child wash
feet and change color and repeat process or if 2 or 3 children paint each ones
feet a different color.
You may wish to use the paint pen to write their
names under each set of foot prints.
Allow to dry flat for 24 hours with
poster board inside.
