Tile Bird Bath

craft time: 1 hour plus 48 hours (divided) drying time

You don't have to grout this project is you don't' want to. It is quite nice with the tiles or gems creating a dimensional look.

plastic gloves
Popsicle stick
grout
old soup plate, needs a wide flat rim
stones, gems or old tiles (small)

Put on the gloves.
Using a Popsicle stick, spread the gout over the rim of the plate.
Gently press the stones into the grout. Leave a little space between the two stones.
Let dry 24 hours.
When dry spread on another layer of the grout, be sure to get in between the tiles.
Let dry another 24 hours.
Using a soft cloth wipe off the excess grout and polish the tiles.
Apply a light layer of vanish.
