get the pattern
8x10-inch black construction paper (or non fade
black paper)
pencil
sharp blade
8x10-inch colorful tissue
paper
8x10-inch poster board
mounting adhesive, glue, or
tape
Transfer the pattern to the black paper. Place pattern on top of
paper and trace outlines. Press hard to make an indentation onto the paper.
Alternatively, rub the back of pattern with the side of pencil until covered,
lie on top of paper and trace, faint lines will be left on the
paper.
With a sharp bade cut out all the negative space (the white
areas).
Mount tissue paper to poster board.
Mount your finished cut paper
to tissue paper.
This looks great framed.
Option: Paint the poster
board. Be sure to make the paint smooth.
