WINTER
by Julie Thorman
The first snow fall of winter makes
everything glisten,
As far as the eye can see is white, a peaceful
calm.
The cold brisk air makes the world seem fresh and clean.
The
animals come out of hiding to start a new day,
The children come out to
play in the clean white snow.
Whether it is sledding, or skating, or
building a snowman
The children enjoy the first snow fall of a winter
day.
At night the trees look as if they have diamonds
from the
snow and ice dangling from them.
The moonlight hits in a certain
manner,
The trees sparkle and shine in amazing ways.
