• Grow Candy Canes

  Plant round peppermint candies (that look like round, flat candy canes) in the snow or dirt, sprinkle with "magic Christmas snow" given to you directly from Santa (clear or silver glitter). In the morning the peppermints will grow into candy canes (adults need to exchange them when little ones are sleeping). Mind you it can only happen on Christmas Eve and only with the magic snow. -  
• Sequencing Red & Green
  Each person takes a turn identifying something that is red and green. The first person must use red (strawberry, Santa's hat), the second uses green (cucumber, money), the third person uses red again. Continue in this manner, if you repeat a word or can’t think of anything in a predetermined time—your out!
