Canadian
public holidays, also known as statutory and general holidays, are
dictated by federal, provincial, or territorial governments.
National holidays include New Year's Day, Easter, Victoria Day, Canada
Cay, Labour Day, thanksgiving. Remembrance Day, Christmas, and Boxing
Day.
Some provincial and territorial holidays are Family Day, Heritage Day, Louis Riel Day, New Brunswick Day, and Orangemen' s Day.
Also celebrated, though not official holidays are Valentine's Day, St.
Patrick's Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day, and Halloween, as well as
personal religious holidays.
