Beaded French Flag Safety

12, 7/8" safety pins
1, 1-3/4 " safety
pin
for colors and amounts of beads please refer to the pattern
The How To:
Place
beads on each of the smaller safety pins according to the pattern.
Arrange
beaded safety pins on large pin according to the patterns shown in
chart, pushing them around to the side of the safety pin that does not
open.
Optional
steps:
Use needle
nose pliers to pinch closed the smaller safety pins to keep them from
popping open. You may want to use a small flat head screwdriver to help
open the end of the large safety pin.
Fleur-de-lis Tee

Option: Stamp onto paper, great for kindergarteners.

Tee-shirt or sweat shirt, try a dark color, washed &
dried
Contact paper (the stuff you line your kitchen shelves with)*
Fabric
paint, gold, rust, and a pale yellow (or you can just use
gold)
Sponge
*The contact paper is optional, you can
just cut out the stencil from the printed paper.
Trace out the pattern onto
the contact paper. (Draw 2 or 3 on the paper.)
Cut out the
patterns.
Remove backing of contact paper and press onto the shirt.
Sponge
gold paint into the stencil.
Sponge rust along the right border.
Sponge
pale yellow along the left border.
Carefully remove "stencil".
Let dry and
continue adding more fleur-de-lis.

look like the French flag.
